The blink

In the blinking of the lights enclosed i lay,
In metamorphosis, in periods of day
Can't consider what's first to say
What is legitimate for the thoughts of clay.

Can flight a worm demand?
Can run a babe ask for?
Can fight a joey understand?
Is now the time to ask for more?

The lights still a blinking as I wait to find
Is it the wires, or bulb or the current that binds
My hope for vibration of time to line
My ears, my sight will you be fine?

As the honeybee to nectar from day to day
Is this what should I face, the only way
If only the puzzle can just be solved
that blinking light will stop the scoff

As I wait here for the summer's heat
Would the future be bright or will it be bleak
Many nectar still to collect this time
The queen shall not know or chopped head be mine

The time has come to me decide
Turn off the blink, put time aside
It's not time's fault, God didn't say yes
The curve turns down, patience the best.

Growing up

Walking through the paths of grey
Going through clouds in meadows i lay
Long have i waited for this point of time
When an identity is truly mine

Dreams and visions coming to pass
More resolve on the Word is must
Lest I lose sight of priority to hold
Growing in fear timidity unfold

One foot into adulthood one in cloud nine
Another foot just refusing to leave the fine
The freedom that manhood seem to present
Yet the responsibilities many resent

Clouds of dreams can be felt now
Thankfully still to God I bow
Yet as the clouds become real
Dreams still distant, uncertainties feel

Could there be anything certain with life
Conflicts, struggles, passions with strife
Only the One I can truly fully trust
He is my core, my life, my crust

When young two roads diverge in the yellow woods
The choice is simple with "either or" of mood
When older multiple roads diverge in grey clouds
Choices to make cry out in the loud

Nothing in life is truly certain
Each curtain you pass through is another curtain
But just before you lose the fight due to the mountains
Remember the God of hope who springs forth your fountain.
